Ride on Mary is owned and managed by Ian Harling and has over 28 years of Kayaking experience. Ride On Mary… has been operating since 2009. Ian has lived in the area since 2003 and has extensive knowledge of the local tracks, waterways and wildlife.

The Mary Valley is nestled in the hinterland behind the Sunshine Coast- the perfect holiday getaway spot for nature and adventure lovers! Just 45 minutes from Noosa, 60 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport and 2 hours from Brisbane. It’s a great base from which to enjoy a wide range of day trips. As well as the Mary River, Yabba Creek and plenty of great forest tracks, the Mary Valley boasts many diverse attractions!

- Our Kayaks & Bikes are an eco way to get up close and be part of nature
- We reuse, up-cycle & recycle whenever we can and compost all our food waste
- As little as 15% of our total waste goes to landfill – and we are currently working on making this less again

- We do not use Brochures because of the environmental impact – using posters and business cards instead. Also most people have smart phones now as well so it is easy for anyone to look up what we do right on their own phone!
- To help protect our waterways environment and animal welfare we do not allow fishing from our kayaks.
